“ Five stars, well deserved! Getting to the location in the mountains along a winding mountain road is an adventure, however the destination is worth the effort. The views are beautiful, and the seating on the patio is in a spacious, relaxing environment with rough cut stone walls that speak of character and history. Service is impeccable, and the staff will suggest ideas from the menu and make everything sound appealing in the way they describe it. Sean, Mikel and Olatz were wonderful hosts, with a real interest in giving visitors to their restaurant the best service and experience. The food is truly memorable, as is the interior ambience. The wood and stone style of the place makes you feel part of a culinary tradition, which you are, and everything from the aperitifs, the starters to the mains and desserts are first class. We had the place to ourselves for most of the night, so we enjoyed their undivided attention and a great conversation with our hosts. You can truly taste the family and regional tradition in every dish. I highly recommend it - five stars all the way! ”

We chose a typical red wine for the area that went well with the food.
